Managing PDF Documents


 
If a document is added to a client’s documents, or saved to the Client record as a PDF, it can be viewed within Bp Allied. Opening this document will open the embedded PDF viewer.
 
In Clients > select the relevant Client
Go to Documents/Phone Calls Tab
Click  to open the document
The Open file in Bp Allied? prompt will display
 
 
 
Click Yes to open in the Bp Allied PDF Viewer
The PDF file will display in the Viewer
 
 
The viewer buttons offer the following functions:

Action
Open – allows a PDF to be opened from the Computer directly into the PDF viewer. Please note that this will overwrite the currently open document.
Print – allows selection of an installed printer to print the document to
Save – overwrites the saved document
Save As – allows the saving of the document outside of Bp Allied
Save to Client Record
  • If the PDF is already saved against a client then this allows the saving / overwriting of the document against the selected client record.
  • If the PDF is not attached to a Client record, e.g. has arrived via Secure Messaging Incoming Messages, then this allows the selection of a Client and save to the Client record
Previous – Moves to the previous page. Greyed out if there is none.
Next – Moves to the next page.
Find – find a word or phrase in the document
Page Number – page displayed of the total number of pages
Zoom Out – make the document smaller
Zoom In – make the document larger
Zoom – select the Zoom percentage
